Epiphany, 2012

Light steals into the coffee shop
with sand-rimmed eyes still arguing
the route.  A plain girl is watching

their confusion, coarse cloth on top
of her nursing child, soft singing
gilding the room. The strangers stop,

stunned, as at their journey’s ending
light steals into the coffee shop.

(an Octain Refrain, for friends in the wonderful dVerse community)

Wow- this is amazing, Andrew. I love the twist at the end and can so relate to arguing about stopping for directions.

This is So cool. Sounds like they have been traveling in the desert of time and space.

The moment's we catch - one never knows what will strike us...

Also: Love the image. Though I think there may be a missing link between the walkers...

Very nice: structured without feeling like it was forced into a form. Nice visuals as well.
